Dog Boarding in Burien

You’re Already Our Neighbor

We’re not "serving" Burien. We live here.

1043 S 140th St isn’t a service area on a map. It’s our address, our five acres, and the streets we walk our own dogs on every morning.

So when you board with us, you’re not shipping your dog somewhere. You’re walking them down the road to people who already know the neighborhood they came from.

The One Place You Can Just Show Up

Most boarding makes you fill out a form, wait for a callback, and book a tour for next week — then decide from photos.

Come by instead. Bring your dog. Stand on the property and watch how the dogs move around it.

We do walk-in meet & greets because being local should mean something. Call ahead if you’d like — (206) 333-4535 — but you don’t have to.

Five Acres. In Burien.

You know this town. You know how tight the lots are.

Then you turn onto our road and there are five acres of nature preserve sitting there. Real ground. Room to open up into a run and actually finish it — not a concrete pad with a fence around it.

Your dog gets to be a dog, in your own city.

What Close Actually Buys You

No highway before drop-off, so your dog arrives calm instead of wound up — and the first hour sets the tone for the whole stay.

It also means last-minute works. Flight moved up, meeting ran long: you’re minutes away, not across the county. And you’ll run into us — at the store, on the trail. That’s a kind of accountability a chain facility can’t offer.

Who We Are

Tamar and Amy. Twenty-plus years in pet care, more than twelve of them as one of Rover’s top-rated providers in the Seattle area — with 3,031 five-star reviews. Voted Best in the Pacific Northwest by the families who kept coming back.

What You Can Book

During the stay: daily photo galleries and a direct text thread with us. Ask how she’s doing, get an answer from an actual person.
