For more than twenty years, we have devoted our lives to caring for dogs. Four years ago, we moved to a beautiful five-acre nature preserve just minutes from Sea-Tac Airport. It finally felt like home for the kind of care we have always believed dogs deserve. And in many ways, it truly is home. When families leave town, they leave a piece of their heart with us. We understand the trust that requires, and we never take it lightly.
Being just five minutes from the airport, where so many of our pet parents are already headed, makes drop-off and pickup incredibly easy. Many families simply stop here on their way to catch a flight, knowing their dog is safe, settled, and cared for before they even reach the terminal.
This place was not built overnight. It grew slowly through long days, late nights, early mornings in the rain, and a great deal of heart.
We have spent countless hours sitting on floors comforting anxious first-timers. Administering medications in the quiet hours of the night. Celebrating brand-new puppies. Sometimes crying alongside families saying goodbye to beloved old souls. Over the years, we have watched many families grow. Some first came to us with their very first dog, then their second, and now the third generation of family pups.That kind of trust does not happen by accident. It is earned one stay at a time.
Every day here follows a balanced rhythm designed around the well-being of our dogs. Each morning, dogs head into one of our twelve spacious play yards. Groups are carefully matched by temperament, energy level, and size so every dog can feel comfortable and safe.
They explore.
And we are right there with them. Our team remains present in the yards, observing interactions, guiding play, and ensuring every moment remains safe and positive. Dogs enjoy up to six hours of outdoor play each day. That activity is balanced with rest, meals, and relaxation in climate-controlled indoor comfort.
Some settle into cozy puppy corrals. Some relax inside our home. Others free-roam with our trusted crew. Then it is back outside again. This steady rhythm of activity and rest keeps dogs mentally engaged, physically fulfilled, and emotionally balanced.
Every thirty minutes, hands are on dogs and eyes are on dogs. We perform full-body safety checks, make group adjustments when necessary, and ensure every dog remains comfortable and happy. Over time, we learn each dog’s personality.
We know who prefers fetch over wrestling. Who enjoys quiet time.
Who wants one best friend instead of ten. In the evening, the energy softens. Dogs settle into calm and peaceful spaces throughout our lodge and home. Because we live right here on the property, care never pauses. We continue monitoring, listening, and remaining present throughout the night.
Before the day ends, we upload photos to our gallery so families can see their dogs enjoying their stay. We understand what it feels like to refresh that page when you miss your dog.
This is a family-owned and operated business in the truest sense. Three of our five children have chosen to dedicate their young adult lives to this place. Our two younger children can often be found tossing tennis balls or hosting Story Time with Elliott. During these moments, dogs who crave gentle attention curl up beside them as stories are read aloud.
And our staff members are family too. We celebrate birthdays together, share staff dinners, go bowling, and show up for each other’s milestones. We support one another through life’s harder seasons as well. When a team feels like family, the care they give reflects it.
